My Favorite Winter Fashion Picks Under $100

January 30, 2018

Weather in Texas is crazy. Mornings in the 30s and afternoons in the 60s. Since those cold winter days aren’t going anywhere, I thought I’d share a round-up of my favorite end of season sale winter finds.

Hooded Faux Fur Coat – Shein.com

This is my #1 favorite winter find. This coat is so warm and got me through the bomb cyclone of 2018. It’s ridiculously warm and soft and comfy and it’s really all you’ll ever need in life. Oh and I haven’t even mentioned the best part. It’s $33! Yes, it’s hard to believe but it’s true. I promise. Buy this. Now. You can thank me later after all the compliments.

Leopard Print Calfhair Demi Slides – Banana Republic

Loafer slides are everywhere this season. I mean everywhere. And if like me, you cant imagine yourself in those weird fur loafer slides that Gucci has made insta-famous, then these are for you. They’re super cute and affordable, so that’s all I really need to be convinced.

Note: I don’t know if these are available online anymore. But there are these booties in the same print for only $56!

Maroon Chenille balloon Sleeve Sweater – Express

OK – real talk. I haven’t been in an Express store in over 7 years. But I took a chance and went in during my recent shopping day out with my BFF. To my surprise, this cute sweater was 50% off but I think it’s perfect for Valentine’s Day. There’s also two great pink colors and a few others. It runs a bit big and I fit a size small (here’s another reason to love express : ). I cant wait to pair it with the GG belt.

Ladies – the struggle is real. On the one hand, I feel like I’ve reached an age where I’m too old to wear knock-off clothes. On the other hand, who really spends over $400 on a belt? I’m all about a smart splurge. A purse, sunglasses and shoes – yes this is where I go a little crazy. But I’ve never been big on belts. So this is the time to save a bit. Or at least take this one from Amazon on a test drive before I drop real money.

Adella Bralette – Free People

Yes, you have seen this bralette everywhere. And I’m here to tell you, I wear this every day I don’t have to go into work. I’m a larger 34C and to my huge surprise last measured at a 34D – so there’s one bonus to being in my thirties. Who knew my boobs would get bigger! Anyhow, this is a comfy and super sexy bralette. I prefer the medium size and own it in three colors. But I’m seriously thinking about getting this pink as well.

Nike Blazer Low LX Sneakers – Kith, NYC

Do you believe in love at first sight? Because these shoes are exactly that. Fancy sneakers are everywhere right now. Velvet, fur, glitter. Girly sneakers are really having a moment. I wasn’t really on-board with this trend until I saw these. Normally, I’m very faithful to Converse. But when I saw these at Kith in NYC, I just had to have them. They come in several colors and sadly the gorgeous mauve I got isn’t available anymore. But the other 4 colors are just  as beautiful.

Distressed Jeans – Free People

I’m really trying to embrace this trend. But I feel like it’s temporary and still not at all work appropriate. So I don’t recommend spending a whole lot of money here. I’ve tried on a ton of different brands and I ended up buying this pair. The length was perfect and they didn’t stretch out and get saggy like some brands. They look great with boots and sneakers.

Ear Crawlers – Wildland Supply Co.

I have a love/hate relationships with earrings. I have two piercings in each ear but I cant seem the keep the second ones in decent shape. Enter the ear crawler. So good for so many reasons. They go more than halfway up my ear. So, there’s no need to worry about getting multiple painful piercings all the way up. But the best part is that they wrap up the ear. So no more painful studs poking the side of my head. I can sleep in them comfortably all night. I pretty much these solely. I also have a silver pair and I’m currently looking for the perfect pair of mixed metals.Ear Climbers
